Arts Center 'Sprouts' Young Artists!

Preschoolers in the Capital Region are learning about the arts in exciting ways thanks to a grant from the Foundation. The Arts Center of the Capital Region launched Studio Sprouts, a twice weekly hands-on arts program for children ages 2-5 years old. The 90-minute drop-in sessions offer music, visual arts, drama, and other artistic experiences for children and their adult caregivers. Arts programs like Studio Sprouts help children build social skills, critical thinking skills, and emotional maturity. These skills are vital for success as they progress to the next stage of education.
