Priorities
The Troy Savings Bank Charitable Foundation focuses its giving in the following program areas:

• Community Development - programs or initiatives that provide vital human services, access to safe and affordable housing, or economic stimulus for our communities. Approximately 50% of the Foundation’s grantmaking is devoted to community development programs.

• Youth Development - programs that encourage our youth to reach their full potential and develop needed skills for the workforce of tomorrow. Approximately 20% of the Foundation’s grantmaking is devoted to youth development programs.

• Arts & Culture - artistic and cultural initiatives that enrich our communities, with special consideration given to those that provide access to the arts for financially disadvantaged youth. In addtion, the Foundation provides significant support for the world renown Troy Savings Bank Music Hall.  Approximately 30% of the Foundation’s grantmaking is devoted to arts & culture programs.
