Grant awards totaling $36,100 awarded to community and youth development organizations.

TROY -- The Troy Savings Bank Charitable Foundation announced today that it recently made grant awards totaling $36,100 to five community organizations. Grants made by the Foundation include the following:

 

·         Funding of $5,000 to Sunnyside Center to provide tuition assistance for financially-disadvantaged youth attending the Sunnyside Summer Day Camp.

·         Funding of $2,500 to Troy Youth Association for the summer day program at the CYO center in Troy.

 

·         Funding of $5,000 to the Crandall Public Library for renovation and expansion of the library.

 

·         Funding of $13,600 to the Petersburgh Public Library for the final phase of renovations to the library allowing public access to the lower level of the building. 

 

·         Funding of $10,000 to Volunteer Physicians Project of Schenectady, Inc. to support the Schenectady Free Health Clinic which offers free primary medical care to the uninsured of Schenectady County.  

 

 

 

 

The Troy Savings Bank Charitable Foundation was established in 1999 to provide financial support to not-for-profit organizations in Albany, Greene, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Schoharie, Warren, and Washington counties.
